Soup has sort of a boring reputation. Everytime I think about how much I love soup I'm reminded of the line from Best in Show where "Sherri Ann Cabot" is describing how much she has in common with her very elderly husband and says, "We have so much in common, we both love soup and snow peas..." Like soup is something only old people like?! Or people who don't have any teeth left?!
Anyways, I love soup. It keeps me hydrated. It makes my sinuses feel better. It keep me warm. It's easy. The kids hate it, so there's more for me. It's the best breakfast ever. It's the best nearly midnight snack ever.
I'm going to go eat some soup right now.

heehee, i love soup too! surprise. :) hope you're feeling better. your email made my day. what a strange, teeny, synchronistic co-op world we live in. hopefully one day we can share a meal of soup, something fried, and peanut butter zigzag. that would be grand.
love,

I'm a *huge* fan of soup. I'm also a proponent of people going after their dreams. If you want to write a soup cookbook, do it! Just start working on it and worry about the particulars later.
Feel better soon!
i totally LOVE soup too! i've been wanting some all week and haven't made it yet. hopefully tonight i will :)
Soup makes the world go round..or at least my world. You'd probably have a bigger audience for a soup cookbook than you think!
I might add that liz's first cooking extravaganza (when she was about 4 yrs. old) was "leaf soup". Parsley (from a jar) poured into a pan of water and "cooked", and her daddy even ate some.
Ha - I love Best in Show! Hilarious.
I also love soup. Possibly the least boring thing ever.
I love soup, too! I feel like I eat much more of it than the average person. It's just so good!
